Veteran Systems Engineer, Brant Elliot, Joins MicroCorp’s Cloud Elements Division

Supporting increased volume in complex enterprise sales

Marietta, GA – MicroCorp, an advanced solutions distributor for data, voice, Unified Communications and data center services, announces the addition of Brant Elliot as sales engineer, serving as a pre-sales engineering resource focused on advanced hosted solutions and cloud optimization opportunities. The addition of Elliot is in direct response to the volume of cloud opportunities since the April launch of the Cloud Elements Division, MicroCorp’s consultancy resource for SMB and enterprise opportunities.

Elliot is a proven Systems Engineer with more than a decade of experience designing and engineering IT systems within large-scale organizations – particularly governmental and educational sectors. He has managed IT operations and security risk assessment for the US Army, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Homeland Security, and more than 40 tech transfer offices around the world. His specific areas of expertise include systems architecture, optimization of virtualized environments, and helping the industry migrate to the cloud.

Elliot will offer provider-neutral engineering support in the areas of colocation, hosted, hybrid, cloud, security, IaaS, Hosted Desktop and DRaaS solutions. Most recently, Elliot served as CTO of Stealz, Inc., where he was also a co-founder.
